A packed agenda for London expo

Big brand leaders, industry experts and technology innovators are all ready to converge on London’s Olympia.

Retail Technology Show – #RTS2023 – will attract more than 8,400 visitors, all passionate about the latest trends in shopping, commerce and customer experience. Flooid will be there with live unified commerce demos at stand 6E88.

Here are some of the other highlights we’re looking forward to:

  • Discovering the art of high-performance
Sports broadcaster and host of the High-Performance Podcast Jake Humphrey will discuss how to develop a dynamic, achieving culture across a retail team, as well as explaining how to evolve to defeat the competition.
  • Margin improvement insights
Chris Conway, eCommerce director at Co-op, will be sharing his thoughts about range analysis, sweating existing assets and innovation as a driver of cost reduction in convenience and grocery stores.
  • AI in the spotlight
John Mildinhall, Head of Data Science for Retail, Digital & Technology at Marks & Spencer, will showcase examples of how M&S is using AI to capture missing value and drive profit.
  • Learning more about the ‘kindness economy’
Celebrity shopping guru Mary Portas will explain how empathy, kindness and human connection will underpin the future of retail in a fireside chat. Another famous face will follow her on the Headline Theatre stage when Dragons’ Den investor Steven Bartlett discusses his career.
  • Social impact from payments
Flooid partner Pennies will be represented by Chief Partner Officer Paul Seaman, who will share information about his organisation’s microdonations model and the future of digital payments.

Other talks will see top-level execs from Primark, Alibaba, Boohoo, Adidas, John Lewis & Partners, Walgreens Boots Alliance and others debate the future of retail.

Retail Technology Show is from April 26-27. Entry is free, but visitors must register.

If you’re visiting, pop by Flooid’s stand 6E88 to learn more about unified, cloud-enabled commerce, in-store endpoint innovation, using sales data to unlock margin opportunities with intuitive insights, and the opportunity to speak with representatives from Box Technologies and Inefi.
