“Over the years, it’s the people, the variety, and the constant opportunity to learn, that have kept me engaged, and proud to grow my career at Flooid”

Lyndel Beaver, Director of Project Delivery

Q&A: Meet Lyndel Beaver

Q: What brought you to Flooid?

After years of working in marketing, tech, and product delivery, I was encouraged to apply to Flooid, even though I didn’t come from a traditional retail or software background. What stood out in the interview process was how open and honest the team were about the work, the culture and the expectations. It felt like a place where my experience would translate, and it has done exactly that.

Q: What do you do in your current role?

I lead project management efforts in North America while still actively managing key accounts. I help optimise processes, mentor team members, and make sure projects move forward smoothly. It’s fast-paced but incredibly rewarding to see improvements ripple across teams and benefit customers directly.

Q: How would you describe the team culture?

Supportive and collaborative. It’s not about hierarchy here, it’s about getting the job done well and respecting each other’s time, talents, and lives outside of work. Whether it’s flexible scheduling, covering for a teammate, or celebrating wins, there’s a true sense of unity.

Q: What have you learned at Flooid?

Professionally, I’ve grown more confident in high-stakes customer conversations and early sales phases, thanks to the trust and support of my peers. Having the leaders’ confidence to step in as the responsible decision-maker when it counts has elevated my communication and leadership skills in ways no formal training ever could.

Q: Why would you recommend Flooid as a workplace?

Flooid balances high expectations with high flexibility. You’re trusted, respected, given autonomy and surrounded by people who care, not just about the work, but about each other.
