Q&A: Meet Duman Tumenov 

Q: What made you choose to work at Flooid?

The Flooid brand is still relatively young in it’s latest chapter as a Glory company, just like me in my career, so it felt like the perfect time to grow alongside a company that’s evolving. I live in Cincinnati (Flooid’s North American headquarters) and the fact that the product directly impacts everyday shoppers, like me, made it even more relatable.

Q: Tell us about your role and how it supports Flooid’s mission

I’m a Service Operations Engineer (SOE). My role is to help ensure that what our development teams build is delivered properly to customer environments and meets expectations. We support both external customers and internal teams, from troubleshooting and identifying root causes to working on future initiatives. I love that my work is collaborative, and solution focused. We face challenges together, brainstorm solutions, and leave systems better than we found them.

Q: Would you recommend Flooid as a place to work?

Definitely. The teams here are supportive and quick to jump in when help is needed. With a diverse customer base using various infrastructures and technologies, every challenge is a learning opportunity. Flooid encourages skill growth, and the company itself is steadily expanding and securing its place in the tech space. It’s rewarding to be part of that momentum and to grow alongside it.
