Q&A: Meet Russell Jeffcoat
Q: How long have you been with Flooid and what brought you here?
I’ve been here nearly 14 years—since the PCMS days. I joined after taking redundancy from a previous job. With a young family on the way, I was looking for something stable and closer to home. PCMS offered that, and the interview showed me it was a smart, long-term move.
Q: What has kept you here for over a decade?
The work has always been rewarding, even when it felt easier than my last role. I’ve had the chance to apply my technical skills broadly—from QA to test operations—collaborating across teams. I’ve never been pigeonholed and have always felt respected and relied upon.
Q: What’s your current role like?
As a Test Operations Lead, I manage the cloud-based environments our testers use. It’s a constantly evolving space, which keeps things exciting. I focus on automation and efficiency—if I do something three times, I automate it. That approach has saved our teams countless hours.
Q: How would you describe the culture at Flooid?
